About Our Founder
Peter Van Egmond founded a renovation/home improvement company in Canada in 1969. As president of Peter Van Egmond and Sons Ltd., Peter was a hands on owner/operator. Not one to sit behind a desk, more often than not Peter could be found onsite, with hammer in hand, working alongside his crew.
In 1992, Peter sold his business to two of his long-standing employees and headed for the South Carolina coast.
Peter built his business with his family working alongside him every step of the way. A strong work ethic served him well as he believed that "hard work brings its own rewards."
Known to stress the importance of people skills, Peter believed that "If a friend or customer asks you to walk a proverbial mile with them, you should walk a mile and a half."
Honoring Peter's skill as a master craftsman and honest businessman, his family continues providing good service and fine workmanship. The products and the process have been perfected by Peter and his staff over many years of success.
